Decision support for gig drivers

When to work. Where to go. Which app looks strongest.

I built Qwkroute to bring demand, weather, events, earnings comparisons, goals, and tax context into one shift-planning flow—without continuous location tracking or driver-account access.

How I built it

The problem

Useful signals arrive in separate products, often after a driver has already committed to the shift.

The approach

I designed the data model, integrations, and workflow around the decisions a driver makes before and during a shift. Privacy limits are part of that design.

Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment

At Desert Diamond’s Glendale casino, I maintain and troubleshoot electronic gaming machines on a live floor. I diagnose reported faults, repair or replace components, complete preventive maintenance, test the result, and document the machine’s status before it returns to service.

Because the equipment is regulated, I follow approved access, testing, and documentation procedures and coordinate unresolved issues with Slot Operations and support teams.

Responsibilities and handoffs
Diagnose
Start with the reported symptom and available machine history, test likely failure points, and narrow the issue before replacing parts.
Repair & verify
Repair or replace the failed component, complete preventive maintenance, and confirm stable operation.
Document
Record the fault, work performed, and final status so Slot Operations and the next technician have an accurate handoff.

24/7 SOC

Vulnerability & Security Analyst Jr

Cyber Guards

At Cyber Guards’ 24/7 SOC, I handled Tier 1 investigations with SentinelOne, Stellar Cyber, Qualys VMDR, and Microsoft 365. I reviewed each alert in context, correlated endpoint, identity, cloud, and vulnerability evidence, and documented the finding for escalation or shift handoff.

Each case had to answer four questions: what happened, which user or asset was affected, what evidence supported the conclusion, and what should happen next.

Investigation workflow
Triage
Verify the alert source, time, affected user or asset, observed behavior, and surrounding telemetry before deciding whether the activity needs further investigation.
Correlate
Connect endpoint and SIEM/XDR events with Microsoft 365, identity, and Qualys asset context to reconstruct the sequence and narrow the likely cause.
Handoff
Write case notes that show the evidence reviewed, searches performed, conclusion, unanswered questions, and recommended next step.

Automation

Python, PowerShell, and Bash for repeatable checks, small utilities, and documented handoffs.
