Experience

Founder and technical experience.

I lead an independent software company, build products, investigate technical systems, and bring hands-on experience from security operations, IT, networking, and regulated equipment.

Relevant roles

Product leadership and technical work with real responsibility.

Each role depends on clear decisions, honest boundaries, methodical execution, and owning the handoff that comes next.

Founder & CEO

Martinez Solutions LLC

Martinez Solutions is an independent software company I founded to build focused products around real operating problems, led by our flagship product, DetailerBud.

Why I launched the company

I launched Martinez Solutions to give the products I’m building a clear operating home and to take responsibility for what happens after release—product decisions, engineering, security and privacy boundaries, support, and continued iteration. We begin by studying the work as it is actually done, then build only what helps that work move more clearly.

Product direction
Define the problem, product thesis, audience, priorities, and standard each release must meet.
Engineering and operations
Lead the experience, technical direction, release decisions, reliability, and practical operating boundaries around the software.
Support and stewardship
Keep a direct path for product questions and company inquiries, and own the product beyond its initial launch.

Slot Technician

Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment

On a live casino floor, I diagnose faults in electronic gaming machines, repair or replace components, complete preventive maintenance, test the result, and document the machine’s condition before it returns to service.

Responsibilities and regulated workflow

Because the equipment is regulated, the job depends on approved access procedures, accurate status records, careful verification, and coordination with Slot Operations or vendor support when a fault cannot be resolved at the machine.

Diagnose
Start with the reported symptom and machine history, test likely failure points, and isolate the fault before replacing hardware.
Repair and verify
Repair or replace the affected component, complete maintenance, and confirm stable operation before release.
Document and hand off
Record the problem, work performed, parts involved, test result, and next step so operations and other technicians have an accurate status.

24/7 SOC

Vulnerability & Security Analyst Jr

Cyber Guards

In a 24/7 SOC environment, I handled Tier 1 alert triage and investigation. I reviewed activity in SentinelOne, Stellar Cyber, Qualys VMDR, and Microsoft 365, then correlated endpoint, identity, cloud, and vulnerability evidence before documenting the finding.

Investigation scope and responsibilities

The work covered malware and endpoint detections, phishing, brute-force activity, suspicious sign-ins, false-positive validation, and cases where the initial alert did not explain the full sequence. Each investigation needed to establish what happened, which user or asset was affected, what evidence supported the conclusion, and what should happen next.

Triage
Verify source, time, user, asset, observed behavior, and surrounding telemetry before deciding whether the alert requires deeper review.
Correlate
Connect SIEM and EDR events with Microsoft 365, identity, asset, firewall, and vulnerability context to reconstruct activity.
Document and escalate
Write the evidence reviewed, searches performed, conclusion, unanswered questions, and recommended next step for closure, escalation, or shift handoff.

Investigation sequence

A calm process for deciding what the alert actually means.

The tools change. The need to validate the evidence before reaching a conclusion does not.

  1. 01Alert received
  2. 02Evidence reviewed
  3. 03Related activity checked
  4. 04Alert classified
  5. 05Findings documented
  6. 06Closed or escalated

Technical foundation

Security, systems, networking, and support.

The experience behind my software work includes the systems it runs on and the failures it has to survive.

Security operations

SIEM, EDR, identity, and vulnerability data

SentinelOne, Stellar Cyber, Microsoft 365, Qualys VMDR, firewall data, alert triage, log analysis, and incident documentation.

Networking

TCP/IP and connectivity

Addressing, DNS, routing fundamentals, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS concepts, packet flow, and methodical connectivity troubleshooting.

Systems

Windows and Linux

Operating-system support, access and permissions, command-line work, software issues, endpoint behavior, and service troubleshooting.

Automation

Python, PowerShell, and Bash

Small utilities, repeatable checks, data handling, and scripts that reduce manual steps or make technical work easier to reproduce.
