Story Flow
Story Flow turns written stories into organized vertical-video projects. It brings source text, voice, pacing, narration, captions, metadata, visual assets, and final review into one desktop workflow.
Why I built it
Video creation was spread across too many separate steps.
Short story videos need more than a text box and an export button. The creator has to prepare the source, decide how it should sound, generate narration, time captions, choose a visual background, review the result, and make corrections.
I built Story Flow to keep that work in one place. It’s intended for creators making story-based vertical videos for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and other video platforms.

Current functionality
The build already covers the core production loop.
The project is private because I’m still refining the experience, not because the workflow is only conceptual.
Voice, style, and length
The output screen sets the voice, writing provider, pacing style, target length, and any additional writing direction.
Narration through preview
The workflow prepares the story, background, narration, captions, metadata, and rendered preview while showing what finished and what is still running.
Edits without losing versions
The review area keeps the vertical preview beside controls for story text, captions, framing, crop, color, timing, and saved versions.
My role and technical work
I designed and built the workflow as one connected product.
My work includes the application structure, interface states, project flow, provider connections, generation progress, local reuse behavior, review tools, version handling, and video-processing path.
Implementation and release status
The current build connects writing and narration providers selected inside the application. The interface shown here includes an xAI writing model and reports ElevenLabs narration usage. Demo mode keeps pasted story text on the device.
I’m still improving edge cases around generation, clearer recovery when a provider fails, final output controls, and the polish required before I make the application available.
